Welcome to Precision Drafting Australia (PDA)
PDA was established in 1984 in the Northern Territory’s
vibrant capital city, Darwin and from the outset, developed
a reputable status as the leading shop detailing company in
the Northern Territory.
From humble beginnings we now employ over 25 Draftsman and
Checkers who are assisted by highly trained administration,
document control and IT staff members. Our growth extends
to offices in the Adelaide, Perth, Manila and Bangkok.
PDA’s success has been achieved by our involvement
with major projects throughout the Territory although our
expertise is frequently sourced from contractors around Australia
and overseas.
Specialising in structural steel detailing, particularly
for the mining, industrial and commercial industry, our ability
to undertake complex architectural developments is highly
regarded in the construction industry.
 In 2004 our technical ability was revolutionised across the
board with the introduction of EasySteel
3D software, which allows us to dynamically create 3D
models and produces a variety of information for our clients
including automatic cutting lists and NC files.
PDA is a fully owned and locally operated Territory business,
proudly achieving international recognition.
