Port Darwin Football Club is fielding two teams in this years FFNT Over 35’s Wet Season Competition. When the teams run onto the field they will be wearing playing strips proudly supplied by Precision Drafting Australia

The social seven-a-side completion is played under lights on a half sized field. There may not be many Harry Kewell’s or Tim Cahill’s amongst them but what they lack in skill they make up in enthusiasm.

Construction of PDA’s new office in Parap is well underway. PDA will occupy a large tenancy on the first floor of the 3000 sq m, three story building being built by Norbuilt Pty Ltd.

The office will feature a 215 sq metre open plan operations area, managers’ offices, meeting room and staff room. As well as dedicated server/comms room, store room and printing areas.

PDA has engaged local architect Andrew Swenson to design and coordinate the fit-out with brief to provide a light, airy, modern office.

The open plan layout as well as the latest in high speed data and telephony networks will bring new efficiencies to our operations.

Completion of the building is planned for late December 2010 and the fit-out is planned for completion mid February 2011.

Management are pleased to announce that PDA has been awarded the contract for shop detailing Cape Lambert Port B Wharf.

The addition of the new two berth wharf is the first stage of Rio Tinto’s $A3.21 billion expansion of its Pilbara operations to a capacity of 283 million tonnes per annum by 2013.

The project consists of wharf topside modules and secondary steel, a fixed tripper, mooring dolphins and walkways.

The project will be largest ever undertaken by PDA under a direct contract.
With an estimated 14,000 man hours required to complete it will require a big effort from all staff and contractors.

The schedule requires an immediate start.

We are also well placed for other upcoming major projects that will allow us to build on the momentum this project will provide.

On Friday April 1st PDA Darwin Operations moved into a brand new, purpose built office at 25 Parap Road, Parap.

With over 300sq metres of open plan office space, large meeting/review room with state of the art audio/visual hardware and 26 seat cafe style staff room, the premises introduces a new level of professionalism to our business.

The move was completed in a single day with all staff putting in a fantastic effort during the well planned operation.

On August 30th 2011, Precision Drafting Australia (PDA) opened a new branch office in Perth, Western Australia.
