The Cape Lambert Upgrade 80MTPA (CLU80) Project comprises an upgrade of the: existing stockyard; wharf extensions; shiploading facilities; and new rail dumping facilities at Cape Lambert, Western Australia.
The shop detailing was completed by the SEPA Alliance consisting of Sinclair Knight Mertz (SKM), Eastman Fort Pty Ltd (EFP) and Precision Drafting Australia (PDA)
PDA’s scope consisted of conveyor tail ends, trusses and trestles, transfer stations, drive stations, sample stations and a dust collection baghouse.
The work was of a complex nature typical of iron ore material handling projects. Numerous design and scope changes introduced additional challenges however the project was completed on time and on budget.
