The Rapid Growth Project 4 – Newman Hub Project involves the installation of a new Car Dumper facility for the delivery of ore by rail from the satellite ore body mines, a new crushing and screening plant to produce processed ore from primary crushed ore delivered from the Newman high grade circuit and satellite ore body mines, a new coarse ore stock pile, a new stockyard facility for stockpiling lump and fines product from the new crushing and screening plant, a new train load out facility, plus all interconnecting conveyors and associated infrastructure on a green field’s site adjacent to the existing plant.

The shop detailing was completed by the SEPA Alliance consisting of Sinclair Knight Mertz (SKM), Eastman Fort Pty Ltd (EFP) and Precision Drafting Australia (PDA)

PDA’s scope consisted of the car dumper building, discharge conveyor CV501, transfer station SE501, dust collection building and numerous ancillary items such as personnel shelters, power pack shelters, sump pump frames.

In addition to the typical deliverables the SEPA Alliance provided the client with complete BIM 3D model with embedded data for every component and links to the associated 2D drawings
